Music & Worship
Worship is the heart of First
Presbyterian Church. "The chief end of all humanity is to
glorify God and enjoy God forever." Worship is our joyful
expression of praise and adoration. It is an opportunity to find
forgiveness and healing. In worship we give thanks for God’s
many blessings, hear God’s Word proclaimed, and discover new and
creative ways to serve God in the world as we are sent out.
We honor our rich heritage and
tradition while at the same time seeking to embrace new,
creative, and emerging forms of worship. Music is an integral
part. Children, youth, and adults have opportunity to express
themselves vocally and instrumentally.
Above all else, we pray that
our worship together will lead to personal worship
and faithful discipleship.
